I have no idea what makes the ice green, only that it's difficult to capture in a photograph.

The green is really cool! Winter shots can be really hard but you did great in this one!
A great winter landscape. My guess is that the apparent green color of the ice is due, in fact, to a thin layer of colorless ice with green water beneath it. So the question is, what is making the water green?
Great gallery. I think whatever gives the ice a green look is pretty cool. I like the colors in this one!
